They also have longer dorsal and anal fins. As with other long-finned betta types, they may have difficulty swimming and be more susceptible to fin tearing and damage from surroundings or tank mates. WebThe betta move off of the wafer, but was still next to it with his head pointed away and his tail near the wafer. I then saw my pleco move onto the wafer and start swinging it's tail at my betta's tail. I was so shocked! My betta really didn't seem all that bothered by it either, I'm not sure how much feeling they have at the end of their tails.
