It will eventually start if cranked long enough but sometime will set a fuel rail pressure below spec fault. I dragged it into the shop this morning to continue diagnostics. WebMay 10, 2024 · The Cummins manual says to cycle the ignition key(but don't start the engine) several times between run and off. You should be able to hear the lift pump running and then stop.
